    My name is Colin and I've been working in games since 2017. In college, I studied writing, narrative development, and game design and since then have shipped seven titles in various roles. I currently am looking for work in New York City or for remote opportunities elsewhere.

    Unannounced Narrative RPG

    Funded by Netflix

    Position: Narrative/Content Designer Team Lead

    Wrote and Designed interlocking chunks of procedural vignettes under the direction of Scribblenauts creator Jeremiah Slaczka, and later trained and led a team of seven globally distributed Content Designers in building and scripting out content for the game using proprietary tools and Unreal Engine blueprints. I have both a Mission Sample and a Full Game Sample video. Password is available upon request for employers only.

    Empis

    Position: Game Designer and Producer

    Empis is a Micro 4X strategy game built in Unity. As one of two project leads on Empis, I've handled faction, systems, and unit design, coordinated our art and music production, write in game flavor and descriptive text, and run our twitter account for, amongst other smaller hats I wear.     Drawn To Life: Two Realms

    Position: Quality Lead and Associate Producer

    On DTL I operated as an Associate Producer and Quality Lead, running daily tests, monitoring task and deadlines, and participating in creative meetings with design leads. Additionally, I was responsible for the village NPCs, setting their patrol paths between night/day cycles, altering them depending on where in the story the player was, and writing barks and level descriptions when you engaged with their challenges.     Supermash

    Position: Quality Assurance Lead and Associate Producer

    Supermash is a genre mashing generator. My role was a mix of QA and production, where I was tasked with introducing and teaching all task tracking software to the team to that had previously just been using spreadsheets. I also wrote several of the pre-mash story cards, which were short narrative framing for the mash.

    The Universim

    Position: Quality Assurance Lead

    The Universim is a God Sim. On this project I ran and designed quality testing protocols, managed a team of volunteer testers, and helped transition the project from pre-release production into a a live Early Access title on Steam, at which point I continued community engagement, bug reporting, and continued testing for monthly releases on the live build.

    Batch 17

    Position: Writing Intern

    Batch 17 is a story focused, online multiplayer third person shooter. At Baffled Games I wrote the dialogue and scripts for quests, writing core and secondary stories and characters through interwoven quest design.
